What are the Loyalty Tiers?

Based on your total unique stay nights with us, you are placed in a loyalty group: G0 (1-6 nights), G1 (7-21 nights), G2 (22-45 nights), G3 (46-89 nights), and G4 (90+ nights). Higher tiers unlock higher Kaudin Kaudin earning rates on every booking, huge Welcome Bonuses, and exclusive perks like Referral Codes!

What are Kaudin Kaudin Credits?

Kaudins Kaudin are our native digital reward points (5 Kaudins Kaudin = ₹1). You earn Kaudins Kaudin on EVERY direct website booking! The amount you earn depends on your total bill and your Loyalty Tier (e.g., G1 guests earn 12 Kaudins Kaudin, and G4 guests earn 20 Kaudins Kaudin for every ₹100 spent). You also earn Welcome Bonuses and Referral rewards. Kaudins Kaudin are credited instantly, and you can use them to get discounts on your future bookings!

How does the Referral System work?

This feature is exclusively unlocked for G1, G2, G3, and G4 guests! You can find your unique Referral Code in your Account Profile. When a brand new guest books their first stay using your code, they get 200 Kaudins Kaudin instantly upon successful booking, and you earn 500 Kaudins Kaudin (₹100 value) after they complete their check-in!

I have a Referral Code, how do I use it?

If you are a new guest booking your first stay, you can enter your friend's Referral Code on the checkout page. 200 Bonus Kaudins Kaudin will be credited to your wallet instantly the moment your booking is successful! You can use them on your next booking.

What is Ghotul?

Ghotul is a backpacker hostel, homestay, and hangout zone in Guwahati. We’re more than just a stay — it’s a community space to meet people, share stories, enjoy music, food, and the earthy vibe of the Northeast.

Where is Ghotul located?

We are at 6A, Alokpurpath, Manik Nagar, Sundarpur, Guwahati – 781005, just 500 meters (5–7 min walk) from Apollo Hospital (Zoo Road).

Who usually stays at Ghotul?

We host solo travelers, backpackers, groups of friends, couples, and working professionals. Locals also drop by for events, food, or to hang out.

What are the check-in and check-out timings?

Check-in: 1:00 PM onwards | Check-out: 11:00 AM

Can I request early check-in or late check-out?

Yes, subject to availability. Extra charges may apply.

Do you accept walk-in guests?

Yes, but during peak season (Sept–Dec & Mar–May), we recommend advance booking.

What is your cancellation policy?

Free cancellation up to 48 hours before check-in. Cancellations within 48 hours or no-shows are non-refundable.

What types of dormitories do you have?

10-bed Mixed Dormitory, 8-bed Mixed Dormitory, 6-bed Mixed Dormitory.

What types of private rooms do you offer?

Standard AC Room: Queen-size bed, attached washroom. Suite: Spacious room with balcony, AC, dining + sitting area, and attached washroom.

What facilities are included for all guests?

Free Wi-Fi, Parking space, Shared kitchen & fridge, Common lounge with board games, carrom, cards, In-house café.

Do you have paid facilities?

Laundry: ₹100 per wash, Lockers: ₹50 per day, Towels: ₹50 per day, Luggage storage: ₹100 per day.

What are your AC usage rules?

Dormitories: 8:00 PM – 10:00 AM | Common Area: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Safety & Security

How safe is Ghotul for solo travelers, especially women?

Ghotul is community-driven with respectful guests and supportive staff. We have CCTV cameras, lockers, and quiet hours.

Is there a locker or storage facility?

Yes, lockers are available as a paid service (₹50/day).

Do you have a curfew?

No strict curfew, but quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM.

Food & Hangout Zone

Do you serve food?

Yes, our in-house café serves dum tea, milkshakes, coolers, Maggi, and ready-to-fry snacks.

Can I bring my own food?

Yes, outside food is allowed.

Do you have vegetarian/vegan options?

Yes, please let us know your preference.

What activities happen in the lounge/hangout zone?

Community dinners, game nights, music jams, storytelling, and casual meetups.

Approx. 8 km (20–25 mins). Autos, Ola/Uber, or taxis are available.

From Kamakhya Railway Station?

Approx. 14 km (35 mins). Uber/Ola or taxi recommended.

From ISBT (Khanapara)?
