Ghotul is a backpacker hostel, homestay, and hangout zone in Guwahati. We’re more than just a stay — it’s a community space to meet people, share stories, enjoy music, food, and the earthy vibe of the Northeast.

We are at 6A, Alokpurpath, Manik Nagar, Sundarpur, Guwahati – 781005, just 500 meters (5–7 min walk) from Apollo Hospital (Zoo Road).
Q. Who usually stays at Ghotul?
We host solo travelers, backpackers, groups of friends, couples, and working professionals. Locals also drop by for events, food, or to hang out.

Yes, but during peak season (Sept–Dec & Mar–May), we recommend advance booking.
Q. What is your cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before check-in. Cancellations within 48 hours or no-shows are non-refundable.

10-bed Mixed Dormitory, 8-bed Mixed Dormitory, 6-bed Mixed Dormitory.

Standard AC Room: Queen-size bed, attached washroom. Suite: Spacious room with balcony, AC, dining + sitting area, and attached washroom.
Q. What facilities are included for all guests?
Free Wi-Fi, Parking space, Shared kitchen & fridge, Common lounge with board games, carrom, cards, In-house café.
Q. Do you have paid facilities?
Laundry: ₹100 per wash, Lockers: ₹50 per day, Towels: ₹50 per day, Luggage storage: ₹100 per day.
Q. What are your AC usage rules?
Dormitories: 8:00 PM – 10:00 AM | Common Area: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Q. How safe is Ghotul for solo travelers, especially women?
Ghotul is community-driven with respectful guests and supportive staff. We have CCTV cameras, lockers, and quiet hours.
Q. Is there a locker or storage facility?
Yes, lockers are available as a paid service (₹50/day).
Q. Do you have a curfew?
No strict curfew, but quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM.

Yes, our in-house café serves dum tea, milkshakes, coolers, Maggi, and ready-to-fry snacks.

Yes, outside food is allowed.
